David Bowie dropped this video way back in 1980, and at the time, it was the most expensive video ever made costing a total of £25,000. It incorporated scenes both in solarised colour and in stark black-and-white. David said the Bulldozer scene with the Blitz Kids represents ‘Oncoming Violence’, and during that scene you can see that Kids bow at different intervals, they were doing this in an effort to pull there gowns away from the bulldozer so they wouldn’t get caught! Crazy!
