The Flaming Lips just released, as promised, a 6 hour track that goes under the title ‘I Found a Star On The Ground’. The song is broken up into three 2-hour cuts, and will take up pretty much your whole work day! I can’t really say much about the track, since I haven’t even listened to 10% of it… what do you guys think?

There is actually an issue with these three cuts – the first two (at least) don’t last for two hours. Not sure if there is a full clip on sound cloud? Seems like they only go for about a half an hour each.
Hmmm. Very odd because they all seem to work for me, with each one lasting 120 minutes… Did you try the soundcloud link?

Yeah @MQ, this is what I got too. Just cuts off. Going to try what YMT says, very annoying was deep into these sounds thinking that music sorted for the next 6 hours and it just goes silent!
You left out all the most important details!
A) The 6 hour song was released on the Flaming Lips latest release, a strobo light toy. It comes with two other songs as well

B) the six hour song features Sean Lennon (says Wayne Coyne, “It’s meant to sound eerily like the ghost of John Lennon”)
C) where can fans buy this toy? Well, so far only 11 have been sold at Portland. Wayne is selling more in Seattle tonight.
