OK Go – Needing/Getting


OK Go are back with another extremely creative video for their latest track ‘Needing/Getting’. The visual was made in partnership with Chevrolet, and has over 1000 instruments placed over two miles of desert just outside of LA, and stars the band as they cruise through the course in a car outfitted with retractable arms that were designed to play all 1000 instruments. Directed by Brian L. Perkins & Damian Kulash, Jr.

The video took 4 months to prep, with 4 days of actual shooting. Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they’d play the right note no matter where they were struck.
