It’s been a couple weeks since I put together a Thursday Throwback, and after reviving Daft Punk’s 1997 album Homework on my iTunes, I couldn’t resist posting “Da Funk”.

The video was directed by the legendary Spike Jonze (now a regular of the Thursday Throwback posts) and stars a human-like dog named Charles who seems to have a broken leg. The track takes a back seat to the story line, as we follow Charles through the streets of New York with his busted boombox. Love this one.
