I think I just found my official summer 2012 track, and it comes from the Nashville-based dj/producer Wick-it The Instigator who created the perfect sunny day mash-up.

Wick-it has taken two summertime rhymes, taking the vocals from Will Smith’s (DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince) “Summer Madness”, and fusing it with the The Lovin Spoonful’s massive hit “Summer In The City”. The mashup is going by the name “Hot Summer”, which is quite suitable. Have a listen below:
